The Baltimore Ravens have emerged as a primary landing spot for quarterback Jacoby Brissett. Following physical setbacks to key signal-callers Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, NFL insiders initially floated Brissett as a viable trade target to help stabilize the team’s roster.
Trade Discussions and Acquisition
Sources indicate that the Ravens are currently finalizing a deal to acquire Brissett directly from the Arizona Cardinals. This move comes as the Baltimore franchise seeks immediate quarterback depth to address their ongoing injury concerns at the position.
Context from Arizona
Prior to the reported trade talks, the Cardinals had previously opted to bench Brissett in favor of Gardner Minshew, leading to speculation about Brissett’s future with the team. Now, he appears headed to Baltimore as the Ravens work to shore up their lineup.
As this is a developing story, further details regarding the trade terms and official announcements are expected soon.
