Early Returns in the Sheriff Race
Initial election returns indicate that incumbent Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna has taken an early lead over his challenger, former Sheriff Alex Villanueva. Voters across the county have been closely watching the contest as the latest figures come in.
Measure A and Ongoing Counts
Alongside the high-profile sheriff’s race, voters are also tracking other local ballot initiatives, with Measure A currently reported ahead in early tallies. Because the counting process is still underway, official outcomes are not yet finalized and further updates are expected as more precincts report their totals.
